Just an update - made some improvements that a few people had asked for.
There are two new buttons. There's a yellow button which allows you to make regions. You can now draw a box around a part of the map where you plan to take your VW, and it will show only people in that region. The next new button is a black button, which will show a printer friendly view of the people you just selected. It should make accessing the contacts more bullet proof if you're in an area without service.
Also, my wife made some very nice stickers, which I've been giving out to people who are supporting the site. Info on stickers is here: https://aircooledrescue.com/about

Is this site still being maintained? I signed up several years ago, and my username is there, but the map puts me in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Africa. |

I signed up. Pretty great idea for a website. _________________ 1971 Super Beetle, 1776, dual Weber's, roller crank, big valve modified racing heads, close ratio trans, lowered suspension, 4 wheel disc brakes, car has over 368,000 actual miles. AIRS seems to be dead, as is the Type2.com website. The main page is there, but many links do not work, with data several years old.
I just tried to login and/or register on aircooled rescue but it failed. |

It let me log in, and my info is relatively up to date. Not sure if it will let me update anything. The AIRS info for us is so out of date, hopefully no one tries to reach out from that old list. _________________ Xargaret
