I just received front and rear American style bumpers. Not pleased with the either one. Maybe a fluke, I will call them tomorrow, but has anyone had any problems with the quality lately? I'm not bashing them, God knows I've spent thousands of dollars there. But I was wondering if anyone else has seen any issues? |

You should be a little specific. Chroming? Fitment? What's up? _________________

The chrome is peeling on one of the over-riders and there is a big scratch on the inside where it is painted silver, that is the rear bumper. I stopped unwrapping it at that point. The front has one bumper guard that has scratches under the chrome on the flat sides. Something you may not see when driving but at the cost of the bumpers and the reputation you expect perfect. I also purchased front bumper brackets that had two different bends that meet the blade and they have different length blades. If you lay them on each other they are way different. (I did put an order in on Friday afternoon, you know what that means) lol |

I ordered a year ago a late model style front bumper and was pleased with what was sent to me. _________________ Volkswagen: We tune what we drive.

They are the go to company for sure. I really like 99% of what I get but they always make me feel like I'm the only one who ever has a problem. I believe the car I purchased is cursed and everything I have done and have had other company's do, there usually have a problem. There-for I know my '63 is cursed so I will need an exorcism on her pretty soon. Thanks for the feed back volks. like I said WW is a great company and without them we would be in a world of hurt finding good parts. (the problem is they know that) |

Ordered front and rear for my 1966 bug about 20 years ago. They went on without any problem and still look great. _________________ "Honesty hath no fence against superior cunning" |

The bus blades are great. Same thickness as originals. I feel like chrome will never be right from an "off the shelf" mass produced part.
In the end, you've gotta pay your local greasy chrome dungeon master to get it right. |

Wolfsburg West is as good as it gets..call them, send photos, I am 101% sure they will make it right. I remember them when there were in Anaheim, before the big move to Corona, and they always have the best stuff available. _________________ 2003 Samba Chummie Winner- Best Story
