I have a 69 Square back and would like to monitor the engine a little more closely. Where would be the best place for the oil temp. sender and the pressure sender. The PO converted the car to dual solex 32 carbs. I noticed an adapter coming off the oil cooler. Doesnt look like there would be much room for a T-fitting for both temp. and pressure senders. Has anybody had good or bad luck with senders in other locations? I had planned on VDO electrical senders as opposed to mechanical presure sender. Any suggestions out there. Thanks for any help.

oil temp - use the relief type sender. It fits in the screw hole where the oil relief spring is.

oil pressure - use a grease gun hose as an extender. you can tee it to have the original idiot light and the pressure sender. Keep the og idiot.

CHT - under #3 sparkplug.

Go for VDO if you are on a budget. If not, go for westach. www.westach.com
