Hard to start after sitting for a week or so.

If I use the car, starts pretty much every time. When it sits, it takes several times to start it up. Any ideas?

gas evaporates out of the carb bowl, takes time for the gas to get pumped back in. Do you pump the pedal a few times before you start it?

I step on it once or twice and it will initially start and maybe die out then I will try another couple of times and it will start. Its fine month car has been started for the day. Only after the cat has sat for days or more.
