I am really excited about owning this 1974 ghia. I bought it from original owner. Her husband bought it in California and moved to Nevada where it remained for most of its life. The original owner took great care of it. The ghia is in original paint, never been resprayed, never wrecked, original carpet, bumpers immaculate, all matching numbers. Has 120,035 original documented miles. I've looked throughout this ghia with care and can't find any rust. Pretty exciting. Never owned a true " fat chick" but I gotta say I'm proud to own this.

Sweet!
And so cool you were able to get all the documentation. Just love the window sticker. _________________ '74 Zambezi green Ghia vert, autostick, 101k

It's first home, Harrison VW, is near me and looks like it is now a secondhand clothing retailer with nothing resembling a car dealer nearby. Fun stuff. Congrats. _________________ 1971 Ghia coupe. Assume I know nothing and you'll be pretty darn close to the truth. |

Yes, I really think so. Have done this many times and I've gotten to the age where I really appreciate the spirit of VWs and more so when there is history.
Anyway, here it is all dolled up.

Yes, they do. I've had lots of ghias but never post '71. This ghia drives awesome. It is so quiet and gathers speed smooth. Hits 65-70 mph without any problem and feels heavy/solid. I am really enjoying driving it around. |
