at first excuse my bad english...
i want to show you some nice new projects from germany...
bugs, busses, porsches..
at first there is an old 65 T1 bus, which has survived some really bad restorings, and now it's gonna be built completely from base...
it's getting a complete Porsche 911 (964) engine, rear frame, brakes, beams and after that a high end samba 21-window fit out..
here are some first pics from the built...
the arrival
adjusting the porsche front beam
engine
original 17" Fuchs

this is my car...
a 70's junk-yard vert which will become a classic oval vert looker, low and mostly original parts...
good verts are rare or extremly expensive meanwhile here..
and i want a really perfect car..
so everything will be new...
the arrival
so much rust...
building the frame..
it's getting a rear beam from a super..
these parts are original and just came back from galvanizing.. (or plating..)
stunning how good the condition is after 44 years..
atm..
it's getting 4,5 front rims with 145/65 15 and 6 rear rims with 205/65 15

the engine and the surrounding tech is in..
incl. ABS-Break system etc..
now everything will be taken off and the body gets a immersion bath to remove all rust, paint etc. and will be prime-coated in bath..
the other parts of engine, suspension, etc will be glass blasted..
here are some pictures before...
now i hope we can move on to the vert again until it's back...
btw, the owner of this bus, who get's it made in this garage is - believe it or not - mr. fuchs himself.. the owner of the fuchs company..
so i call it the fuchs-bus... |

sure, it's an old method from the 70's and 80's..
You need a decklid from a renault 4CV with the louvers already in it.
they fit perfectly on the rounded oval-decklid.
but take only the lower 7 from 9

just a small update..
needed some vent wing frames for my vert, they had to be 65-67 modelyear because they had to fit with the old wing lock.
good ones are very hard to find or extremely expensive.
luckily we got some help from a befriended cnc-company.
they became really perfect, so i had to share
