Ran into a few not well thought out issues
First the vintage speed exaust was touching the rear apron so I had to get a spacer.
Then I didn't think through using a 30 pict 1 with the Judson linkage, as it mates at the opposite angle. I was lucky enough to have a new one built by George to solve that.
And here ya go. Runs great but haven't had a chance to take it out on the road yet as I need to do the brakes

Great looking bug. Please secure the fuel intake nipple/hose with a safety wire or spring. |
Yep that is one of my top priorities, as that's what started this whole mess to begin with. _________________ '64 Bug

Forgot to post... Safety wire added! One more thing to not have to worry about.
