My neighbor has a "50" distributor on his 356C and was wondering what the dwell range is. Anybody have this info?

Thanks, Glenn. I thought you'd be the first to reply. So far, his dwell is ~60 degrees, with "really open" points. Trying to get him to use my feeler gauge instead of eyeballing it (shudder)...

He should use a dwell meter.

I've loaned a dwell meter to him, still trying to get him to use a feeler gauge to get the starting gap and then adjust accordingly. Like leading a horse to water...
