I found these sheet metal pieces in a parts lot that I bought with some buses. I am not sure what they exactly go to as I have never owned a ghia before.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,Daniel

On-going restoration of a '74 convertible. I've been trying to locate the name of the part(s) that I have highlighted in green in this photo to see if I can order replacements.
Originally I thought that the horizontal piece was the rear seat lower support, but now I'm not so sure.
Here's a close up of the left-hand side bracket that attaches to the sidewall, on top of the left-hand rear seat side support:
The PO took the convertible frame off during a previous restoration attempt, so I have not seen how these brackets are used. Based on the position and the hole, I'm presuming that they are part of the lower mounting brackets for the convertible top, but it's only an assumption.
What are this piece (or three pieces) called? Do replacements need to be fabricated or found in a donor, or am I in luck and a parts supplier will have what I'm looking for?
Thank you! |

Hi guys, I have a 1970 CV Ghia. Just got my ghia back from a convertible guy that replaced and fixed my structure. However he gave me this back told me it was broken and not to worry bc I really did not need it.
I have searched all over and can't figure out what the heck it is, what is its purpose for existing, and where does it go.???

Plastic thing is a broken seat belt hook. Metal hook is a coat hook mounted backwards. Though I might have mounted mine backwards. I figure the way I have it you can hang something there when the top is either up or down. |

Thanks again!
Ok, different question.
I was doing the front brakes when I broke this off. How important is it and how do I replace it?
