Looking for some info on this fiberglass chopped oval window bug body? It has separate doors, deck lid and hood. I took the picture in a pitch black barn With no lights, poor quality but it's something.

I have seen both the dual door and single door bodies made for drag racing and designed to be put on a tube chassis. In both chopped and standard height. _________________ Bad News Racing 2018 NORRA 1000 3rd in Class

Everyone is gifted. Some just do not open the package.
Looks like it was painted with a live chicken, polished with a brick and buffed with a pine cone |

There was a company back in the day, in the kit car mags that was selling a body/chassis kit to make a V8 VW Bug. I would have to dig up the info on what the company was called. _________________ www.fiberclassics.org |

That's what I was thinking as well. V8bug or something like that, but they were in Socal I believe. |

"Grove" in SoCal would be Garden Grove. It's in Orange County. Very close to Disneyland. Huge amount of VW stuff out of Orange County over the past several decades, including VW magazines headquartered there. _________________ Richard
