Hi,
can you confirm if the vertical torshion bar in Swaybar rear system has rubber rings at the end

Not to be a dick about it, but that's not a sway bar. It's an overload spring, sometimes nicknamed a Z-bar. I only mention it because there are aftermarket true sway bars for the Type 3 and some might be confused and give you odd answers.

Most times the rubbers (yes plural) are shot. Contact Wolfsburg West for new parts, as they carry them.
