Wolfsburg West emailed me today and told me that they will be sending me the samples of the two green ragtop vinyls that they can get.

When I built my '61 turkis ragtop, I couldn't find the proper green for the ragtop cover so I took a good color sample from the original material and had dye mixed up. I sprayed it on a white vinyl top and was happy with how it turned out. I sprayed it over 3 years ago and it's held up really well since. Here's a link (go to page 8 ):

Thanks for the info. I will have to look into maybe dying one. I did receive the samples from Wolfsburg West. The lighter of the two greens they sent me I think would look good with the Turkis color, but I will have to compare it to a car before I decide what to do.

Heres the samples, the lighter one looks more like it would match in the sunlight. Looks pretty green in the house.

Indeed they do look very green. I would go with the lighter of the two as they would probably match better. You could always get a white one and dye it to match perfectly though.
