Hello Turbodaves,

Great to see you are bring back the Sportster!

If I can suggest that the front wheel spare tire should be threaded for standard 5 wide and 4 lug rims.

I am thinking about doing this to my Empi.

Nice Project there I have one to that I have nt started on, trying to sell a buggy before I start thought about selling the sportster and just find one already running so I would be on the road quicker.

nice project , if the seats and sterring wheel are early they could be worth $$$$
I did not know how much some of the early vw stuff is worth

Got mine home last week. Built by fabricators in the Yakima Valley Washington.
Needs a bit of work. Has 40hp 1200. Roll bar looks tall.

I said good bye to my Sportster today. It's moving to Columbus Ohio to live with a family of BMWs.

Im closing in on buying a turn key Sportster, so in the near future Im going to be selling the project one I bought. I m lucky I work with a guy that does transports on the side with his cousin so Im going to use him to go get this new one paying him might come in cheaper than me going to get it.
