i wonder if the stroke being longer would have something to do with the no exhaust tip................maybe with the shorter stroke the tip wouldnt hit a guys fingers?

thanks!

so does anyone have a nice enough pre rear bumper bus that the original handle is definately original?

this one and the one in the classifieds both have a longer stroke as well..........so do pre rear bumper buses have a longer stroke but a shorter snout?

i can only guess that if they did indeed have a longer stroke it would be because either they were taller than 55-59............or they had longer strokes but then dropped the longer stroke for shorter stroke

to anyone who has this info its much appreciated if you feel like sharing

try tonny,he or rikki james may know.

right on,well ive checked on tonnys site but theres no mention of a crank handle at all that i could find...........lots of great info on there though

i see that the reflector detail changes show only that there was one but later 2..........................no mention of whats correct for what vintage,in talking with other early bus owners there doesnt seem to be a clear answer as to what style of reflector is correct for what era

are all the bd reflectors the frese? does anyone actually know?

how if i may ask did you come to this information? my 52 does have the backs still bolted to the corners, the tailights are original to the bus so i have no reason to believe they have been replaced............but will the backs help identify them?

mine have lost the bezels/glass lost to some hijinx at some point in its life
