Im looking around for a used set of hubcaps for my 66. Are hubcaps year specific or are they all just 1 size fits all? |

1966 and 1967 are one year only. _________________ '67 Beetle L41

65 and older used clips on the rim to secure the hubcaps. 66 was the first year for buldges in the rim that kept them in place. I have read that earlier can be made to fit by modifying them. _________________ 1960 Indigo Blue Ragtop (Blue Barry)

Actually, that makes them "two year only" parts! |

Yeah, two years only, ... except for models that got disc brakes in 1967 (not seen in the USA except on Ghias - those cars got the 4-lug setup a year ahead of everyone else)
And yeah, the previous hubcaps were 65/older. There was one change at the start of model year 1964, they stopped painting the VW logo on them.

I do not know how to fix this. All I can say is it all works fine for me with what I use, Firefox. |

Yeah, up through 1963 the VW logo was painted in, on the hubcaps. _________________ Andy T.
