Does anyone know the thread size of the 'later' square-style Dehne bezel light-bulb holders? I found that the earlier oval-style gauge bulb holders will not fit on the square-type bezels, that have the front piece of the bulb housing attatched to the bezels! They are larger in diameter than the easier to find Dehne ashtray lights, and earlier model Dehne bulb holders. I guess I need to drill-out an earlier rear bulb housing, and re-tap the threads in order for it to work on my 1961 Dehne gauge. |

Oh boy, if I still had mine I'd measure it- but I would still never go to the extreme of drill and mill. Can't you take the two pieces to your neighborhood machinist and have a bushing made? _________________
