Looking to purchase some touch up paint. I have the VW color code just wondering where I could get this. Somewhere in NE Illinois or SE Wisconsin or online.
Thanks.

Call your local NAPA auto parts store and ask them which store in their chain nearby mixes paint. I had 4 rattle cans made up last year in different colors and one bottle of touch-up that should last a life time.
It's HUGE

Unless that paint is reasonable fresh, you may be better off with someone doing a color match. I had to respray the roof of my 65 a few years ago (dont ask) and even though the paint was fairly fresh and the PO gave me the code, it wasnt even close.
If you are having a rattle can special mixed, it will be expensive. And rather than NAPA, I would suggest going to a car paint specialty store. _________________ D-Dubya Manx clone - 63 Short pan,1914.

www.towerpaint.com mixes factory colors in enamel touch-up bottles & spray cans. I like their acrylic lacquer paint & clear coat spray cans too. _________________ https://imgur.com/user/FisherSquareback/posts

I recommend Tower Paint in Appleton, WI. Ive gotten a dozen or so different colors mixed to code (type 2 colors) from them in their arcylic enamel 1k spray cans over the last couple years and have been pretty happy with the color matched results.
only issue was the L31 Dove blue they sent was way off for my tastes, so i mailed in an overhead vent panel and they color matched it. _________________ Fritz Custom Products
