Hi. Just a thought but a very popular air-cooled club down here is situated not far from this event. Der Stadt Rosen is out of Pasadena. They have a facebook page. There is also Drivers Wanted VW club, based out of Chatsworth/Porter Ranch area. Pres is Walker Farnsworth, as I recall. I don't have a facebook account. Hmmm - not so sure that they can re-rent the room and STILL charge you full fee if you don't notify them, that would be double payment received, seems like a violation of unjust enrichment laws.

Next time book directly from the hotel. Stuff like this is only from third parties. even if you don't travel too much, stick to one brand of hotel and the perks start adding up, like no credit card guarantee, late late check in and late late checkout.
