This is for any Vikings fans across the divide who might be interested in a 78 purple bus, probably frozen in the ground at this point of the winter....skol!

That looks very promising.

Glad there is finally another post on this thread. I was beginning to wonder if even our American cousins were running out of buses to find.

Went to a local junkyard today to take pictures of a Riviera top for a fellow member. I don't want to post a bunch of top pics but here's a few of the bus itself.

I used this

https://www.carcareproducts.com.au/product/einszett_1z/extra_paint_cleaner

then polish and wax. My paint looked like yours when I started and it came out really nice after that.

For some of us it is the middle of the cold winter, and Bus hunting slows down a bit.
Nice score Twistedbug !!

Went with a friend to pick up a split window on the other side of the state, ended up buying myself a late bay.

Did someone shave the beltline trim? What was the original color? Any interior?

Hey cdennisg, how are you doing? Its still got the trim holes & I found most of the trim in the van. It has most of the interior (for what that's worth), its just a Kombi & the original color is some odd beige-ish that I cant decode on the ID plate decoder
