I did a search first without success so if someone can find a thread then by all means please point me in the right direction. I purchased a 1967 Bug and the wiper linkage was all installed minus the motor. I purchased a motor here on the samba for a '67 and purchased a bushing kit from Wolfsburg west. The main shaft on the motor is roughly .290 and the supplied bushings are .190 .I double checked the part numbers and the kit says it's for a '67. Am I missing something?

68-69 use a wiper motor assembly that looks similar to a 67 motor, except that the post on the wiper motor arm where the linkage attaches has a larger diameter, and the holes in the linkage are larger to accommodate.
My bet is that you have a 68-69 motor.

what is the update?

I forgot to look at the part number but it doesn't matter, I have the wrong motor. I'll hunt one down.
