I have gone and lost the nut for my T handle. I know it is an M10 but I can not figure out the pitch size. I tried an M10 X 1.0 it wobbles a bit it seems like the thread on the handle is a little finer thread. Any help would be appreciated, my pitch finder in my tap set does not have the right size. Thanks

I have run into a lot of 1.25 pitch, I can measure my handle when I get home but mine is an aftermarket.

I just tried a nut from a locking aftermarket one. It was way to large.

Put a 1 cm scale against the threads and count 10 thread depth yo measure.

It will be1.0, ,1.25, 1.5 mm per thread

If M10 x 1.0mm is too big, that's about as fine thread as M10 exists. This is an aftermarket unit, ya' sure it's not 3/8 inch instead? 3/8 inch is about 9.5mm.

Is this a locknut for the unit? If so, is the shifter threaded too? If so, unscrew the shifter and take that to Ace Hardware, have a gray-haired guy help you.
