I picked up an Odyssey 925 at Pomona this weekend. $195 (US) with the bracket made for it. I am having CustomBatteryCables.com make a 9" 4GA black cable with a 5/16" lug and a 1/4" lug for the ground and a 32" 4GA Red cable with the same lugs for the Positive cable. Cables were $40 shipped. Now I can put my back seat in the car.
You really should secure the battery. I plan on racing my car at Drag Day in March so It as to be secured to pass tech.

Sound advice, no doubt.
The bracket costs another US$70 here, so I had to think twice before committing to that expense when already paying double the US price for the battery. I'm going to have to find a less expensive way to strap it down. _________________ Festina lente - hasten slowly

What class? 165's? Good luck, I look forward to seeing you make some passes. |
I just want to see what it will do. Too bad Irwindale is only 1/8 mile! Those guys are serious in the 165 class! I have too much tire... 205/65-15. _________________ '58 Ghia 2387cc with a Berg / Folts 5 Speed
