I have a Judson, and love it. However, I also like rare/different things, and there's a Mag listed in the classifieds.
The Mag listed is different than all photos that I've seen, in that the carb is mounted on top. Also, it has a 32PBIC which would be a great improvement over the 28 and Judson.
Has anyone run both and has an opinion? Is the Mag so amazing that it's worth $4,750 (of course some of which I could recoup by selling the Judson)? Any one have power band maps of the Mag? I've seen them for the Judson.

Eric Jones (the seller) is a top man and wouldn't sell you short. The MAG is way more rare than the Judson so if you're going for rarity value...you have it there.
As for power not a lot between the MAG and the Judson. Here's a Road & Track test report on the MAG:
