|
|
I bought an nice 997 G97/31 C4 transmission.
I would like to install it in my T3 2WD panel van.
I am trying to find a good powerfull engine that bolts to it without a lot of mods...
Any ideas will be great! |

That transmission is crying out for an Audi V6 TDI, 4.2L V8 or 2.7 twin turbo V6 _________________ Casey--

Why not the basic 997 flat six? You can make sure the RMS is addressed before you install it. It would simplify everything, I woulkd think. I just drove a 2008 Carrera S with the Tiptronic, it ran awesome.
I'm hoping for a lottery win so I can swap a 996 drivetrain + tiptronic into my Carat. _________________ '91 Vanagon Carat

Chap over here has one. Think he has replaced both the turbos with dustbins, the injectors with 3" drainpipe and a remap from NASA
Mentally stupidly insanely quick. Apparently it will wheelspin in 4th at 70 when floored. _________________ https://www.facebook.com/Cow-County-Looms-1010851485971680/ |
