As mentioned, totally a matter of personal preference. Though it seems the general not-into-it public love any and all, like trucks "did you cut it up to make that?"
My #1 has always been a camper. If all I had was a deluxe, it would have curtains and a bed in it! Trucks, a single cab is where it's at! And a bug just for cruising. While I do enjoy driving all 3, the '65 Dormy is my oldest, most reliable and most enjoyable of all.
Also I consider '65s to be like a dime a dozen, in that you can swap in all sorts of parts and stuff from other with relative ease and without much butchering. Barndoors seem to me "flimsier" in their body construct and harder to find correct fitting parts and such.
I do enjoy seeing any and all at shows and meetings but rather own only what I really like. _________________ Some people are so busy being clever they don't have time enough to be wise. |

in a world where money wouldnt be an issue, my top of the list would definately be a barndoor kombi. There's something to the simplier lines that makes it just more of a looker imho.
In second place, it would be a doublecab, simply because singlecab makes no sense with 3 daughters.
In third, any camper really. _________________ 1964 Turkis Flipseat |

Since no one else is giving panels any love I will, especially logo panels.
Call me crazy but I would take a barndoor or early logo panel over a 23 any day. _________________ Bagged 1968 Neptune Blue "Deluxe" |

I love trucks, especially single cabs. Always have. But I also love a kombi or a standard with a sunroof. A PG/SG standard sunroof would be pretty fantastic.
Deluxes and campers, honestly, are at the bottom of my list. Strange but true. _________________ nothing |

A mouse grey, flip seat, dormobile topped bus is about as cool as it gets. Even though I am not a camper guy, that bus pushes buttons for sure. _________________ nothing |
