Within the past couple of days my '67 has started making this weird sound when running. It's almost like a slight squeaking coming from (it sounds like) the passengerside of the engine bay. It's not super loud - I'd liken it to a mechanical bird being stuck in the engine - but it is annoying as heck. It seems like it might be RPM dependent too, that is, it increases / decreases slightly with a rise / drop in RPMs.

Anyone wanna take a guess as to what this might be?

Crack in the head?? Around the spark plug hole. Or a head stud that has just started to pull.

From what you describe, yes, it is a possibility. Have you checked your spark plugs lately?? You may just have a loose one. Also, check for exhaust leaks at the heads.
