Hey Glenn630,

How many notches did you go in the back and how is your front beam set up? Also what size tires did you go with? Really nice ride.

Cheers For Comments! Smile ,

64shawn - The backs lowered 1 outer spline , but fitted with adjustable spring plates so I can adjust it where i want it.
Front Beams been narrowed 2.5" and fitted with sway aways... its probably down about 6 - 7 inches, and the backs down about 4 inches! Very Happy

I dont know if you have them in the states?... but the front tyres are off a "smart car", there a really skinny low profile 145 / 15 inch continental
and work really well on slammed bugs!!
Backs are just normal 185 / 70 / 15's.

Cheers, Glenn

Glenn, that looks great. The oval I am doing now is an original black car, and had almost decided not to paint it black again, since black cars are such a chore to keep clean. I almost wish I hadn't seen your pictures because that looks so good and now I think I'll just do black after all. Darn you!! Wink

This '66 features a KCW 5 Inch Beam, stock wheels with white walls, and a 135/145 series tire combination. The car scoots around on the stock 1300cc motor with a tucked bus header with hide out muffler. This ride used to drag muffler quite frequently...
