hi, i was just wondering if the original paints used on vws are lead based?

i guess i should say, did they use lead paint on '71 supers

i guess i will just assume there is lead or some metal that i shouldnt be inhaling and get a hepa mask, i wasnt thinking and my g/f and i stripped the entire interior and some of the engine compartment with no masks...

you should wear a repirator or at least a mask when stripping paint anyways, lead or no lead Rolling Eyes

no lead, just an enamel, but yes you should still wear at least particle masks
