So I painted an old bumper too see if I like,,, not sure now.
Maybe it needs to be body color, or paint the center of the bumper red.
Check it out, comments are welcomed.

I dunno, I kind of like it! I think since all of your other trim is black, it brings more attention to those pieces and accents them.

Maybe paint the bumper red with a black stripe through the middle.

A friend of mine is doing a German looker with his 71 super. Painting the body and the bumpers java green.Going to put a black accent stripe on the bumpers that matches all of the trim being blacked out. Should look sweet!

Thanx for the input everyone.

I think I'll try painting a red stripe down the middle to see what it'll look like. Like I said, this is an old bumper I had laying around, so it doesn't matter if I keep painting it.

I'll post a pic after I go to Wally World and get some paint.

I think the red stripe will be exactly the right touch.

Allright people, the bumper now sports a red stripe down the middle.

Personally I think it looks better. Very Happy

It 's totally different than any of my other bugs I've had, but I like it.

Now all I need is a primered bumper from mamotorworks and paint it with automotive paint to match the paint code.

Now I'd do the wheels black with a red stripe in each spoke (where the indent is), but that's just me.

Then maybe some thin red port a walls. I got a set last year on eBay, they pop up from time to time.

I'm with mofo on this one. I think it looks better all black. The red stripe makes it too busy.

thanx for the input, the more I look at it, the more I like it.
I think before when it was all black, it took your attention from the car to the bumper. Now it kinda "blends in" with the theme.

I need to get black door handles. Does anyone know where to get some besides Mexibug<----- or whatever its called?
