Hey guys, i would like to know if the bug back rear sway bar will fit a 55 swing axle.
Obviously the 55's got a swing axle but since its an older one i was not sure if it would still work.
Also is it a bolt on piece like the front or is there any type of work needed to install the rear sway
thanks _________________ www.tunergarage.net |

Most rear sway bars are made for IRS but there are a few sway bars made for swing axle (you have to check the part # to know for sure) . A sway bar is not a good idea on the rear of a swing axle car in most applications (I autocross my swing axle car , so I went with Whiteline adjustable sway bars , not a normal application), a camber compensator is a much better choice for a street car . No , one or the other . If you go with a sway bar not a camber compensator , make sure you have a front sway bar too , or it won't be real safe to drive . TROY _________________ Pres. Rivercity VW Club www.rcvwclub.org
