Anyone know if this is a decent setup? The price seems reasonable to me for a combo setup but I can't find any comments on this system.

This seller also has a 3 stage version for about $130 less. Is the 4 stage worth the extra money? I plan on getting a supplied air respirator and thought for the price I may as well get a combo unit so I can upgrade to an hvlp gun to shoot paint. Any thoughts, comments or opinions much appreciated. Thanks.

I would not put the unit into your shop, but outside. If it is supplying you air that is from inside the shop, that air might not be the cleanest air. Ive used a 4 stage turbine Apollo spray unit with great results. Everything from urethanes to epoxies to primers. I also bought a separate unit for fresh air. Im a little leary of a unit that can both supply air for your HVLP gun and also give you fresh clean air to breathe. On units that hook up to a big shop compressor, they recommend that you pipe the compressor air intake outside to get that clean air. If you did a search on the forums for turbine or HVLP units you might get some more info. ChuckP
