Hello, I have been lurking around the Samba for a while now, and recently purchased my first aircooled VW at the Florida Bug Jam.
Just thought I would post a pic of it here...
Later this week, I should get the windows into the car, and fix some other little things. Hopefully she'll be registered and road ready in a few weeks. |

Beutiful car, are you taking it to the Daytona Show on 12/5? |

Thanks.. it's actually a metallic pink color.. I believe its called Dusty Rose or something like that.
I'd love to take it up to Daytona this weekend, but I don't think she'll be ready by then.
I still need to get the valves adjusted, and do some other minor things before I take her on a long trip like that. Who knows I might get a lot of stuff done this week, and make it there, but its doubtful as of right now. |

Here are a few more pictures.. I haven't had the chance to take too many yet..
At Bug Jam... (note the bungee cord/hood latch)
Once we got home, and fixed the hood latch

Hey Cristin,
That is a really sweet bug that you have! I like the color, too. You really have a sweet car there. How does the air-cooled motor handle in the heat you have there in FL? _________________ Life is a garden - dig it!

Nice bug Cristin! How is everything? No gremlins to work out? other than the drips, of course... |
