I'm looking for a complete new wiring harness for my 71 sqbk.
Can't seem to find anything. Everybody seems to have them for type 1's and 2's.
Anybody know where I can look? |

I've checked ISP, they have them for 61-69 non-FI.
I need it for a 71 with FI. |

best bet will be classifieds, eBay or swap meets -- as far as I know, there are no new ones out there and nobody is reproducing them... _________________ póg mo thóin

the problem is no one makes a type 3 injection harness...
if you have a complete used harness, then its possible for someone to make one...
the type 3 harness we sell works for 1961-1973 cars with carbs only
if you have a complete injection harness you might contact Bob @ Wiring Works 310-519-8147 to see if he can duplicate it for you...

For a right price, I will sell you the one out of my '71 FI fastback. And I would throw the car in with it. _________________ Society is like stew. If you don't keep it stirred up, you end up with a lot of scum on the top!--Edward Abbey

I have a good used FI harness in my '69 parts car. But I do not have the FI harness itself.
IIRC, a '69 harness should work in a '71.
What is wrong with your harness?? _________________ Society is like stew. If you don't keep it stirred up, you end up with a lot of scum on the top!--Edward Abbey

I have been making 914 Porsche D-Jet FI harnesses as well as the other engine bay harneses for several years. I am sure I could make one fr the VW T3/T4, if I had a sample to work from. Here is my website for info. Contact me by email...
