Just got back from a great trip from Holland to Sweden in my girls 72 notchback.
In two weeks we travelled over 2300 miles together with 2 friends
in there bright green '68 Notch.
We travelled to Norway and Italy before in my old slammed '68 bug but this was much more comfortable! Type 3: the perfect long-distance aircooler.

The Holliday ended sadly with my friend crashing his green notch
against some dude who pulled up in front of us and sudenly hit the brakes!
With no f#cking reason!
Our friends had to fly home as the car couldn't drive anymore....
Don't worry no one was hurt and the car will be fixed as soon as
it's back in Holland!

Sounds like it was a fun holiday! Sorry about your friend's Notch. Are you planning on coming over to the 2006 "Type 3 Invasion?" You should consider it.

Nice pics! Sorry to hear about the crash though. At least its not a total writeoff and can be repaired.

thanx yes i can fix it!that's for sure.
but it wil cost a lot of money and time
but i love the notch
