I just bought a 1965 bug from another samba brother, Low65Sedan. I haven't done allot to it yet. Gt steering wheel, relowered it, 44 weber carb, seat belts, new wheels are on the way, as well as disc brake kit. I need to know how to post pictures, so I can show it off.[/img] |

raise the front to make it look correct or lift both ends to compete with the truck. _________________ Volkswagen: We tune what we drive.

The rear is already slammed to match the front. I kinda like bouncing down the road. I will be replacing the front fenders soon and then shooting some color! I want to post some pics but do not want to host them on a spamer site, any ideas? Frank |

I would lower mine that much, but Missouri's streets.... there's no effing way. I would have to replace the front apron once a week, no matter WHERE i drove it. |

Do yourself a favor...if the fenders on it are original...FIX THEM! They don't look that bad, and no matter how bad they are...the replacements will be WORSE! |

I would but the headlight bucketts have been cut out with a butter knife, so I want to replace them. I will try to find some used og's. Here is some new primmer to hold me over till I get it painted. |

The headlight buckets are cutout so you can turn with that beam! If you replace the fenders you will not be able to turn. I remember the previous owner of that car posting about the headlight buckets. |

I realize the turning issue, but I want them to be done alittle nicer and both fenders are cracked at the top of the well. But thanks for the info. |
