I think it's part of the tow dolly. You can see it's not there in this pic:

wouldn't you sh1t if you found that one day!

Feelings of joy and adulation along with absolute horror at abuse it has taken all at the same time! LOL

I would love to see pics of what the underneath of this thing looks like! It seems to be holding together when moved about. One would think it would almost break in half from rot sitting belly in the dirt for so long.

Just found the other pics...killer! HAHA
It would be rocking to just drag it to shows exactly how it is.

I am curious if they cut the roof open or if the metal is just wrapped over the other skylights.

They cut the roof open, that thing needs a ton of new metal panels, not to mention chassis sections, alot of work, but it can be saved, I have projects that started out worse than that.

that would be really cool if it was a very early one 50-51?? it looks far better than the one Magnus Wiksten tried to sell me for $8K plus $3K shipping from over there..minus a few parts he sold off of it prior to being put on the trailer.....that one fell apart completly as it was loaded onto a trailer....That one is now in the U.K in many pieces.....the new owner is said to be trying to put it back together??? there was no floor left at all.....just rust dust!!

Apparently, from reading on other sites - it's a '50.

If so... SCORE!

The wheels on the picture i from a trailer.. It has no beam in it.

wow that thing is mad rough. it would cost a fortune to fix it, without the gayass hickbarn that would be the sweetest ride ever after it is saved. im really curious as to what it sells for.

I'm going to go on record as saying it is later than 1952.

Notice how it has the 53-up vent wings, license light, and dual reflector impressions on the rear corners.m It also has rear bumper brackets, indicating it's a Deluxe that originally came with a rear bumper.

He's done more than try and put it together! It is now practically complete (in terms of metal).

Isnt that one RHD too?

This one for sale is LHD with offside loading doors. Lots of swedish barndoors were LHD with nearside loaders.

I'd say its mid '53 on due to the bumper hangers.

Exactly would Everett Barnes said!

Linda, what is your two cents about this issue???

And it is awesome that someone will be willing to invest some time, effort and money into these projects. Its like what my bus license plate ring says............ " IF IT AINT A BARNDOOR.....IT AINT SHIT!!! " .
