getting back to the original discussion...here's the aforementioned glovebox handle. I purchased these from a seller who lived in California about nine years ago.

That's just like mine. Could the seller have been Jeff Walters?

It was that long ago I can't remember. I actually purchased this on Ebay and from memory, I'm sure that the seller was a female and was certainly very nice with her e-mails etc. I am willing to swap for anything interesting...

What do yu consider interesting? I'm really interested in purchasing or trading for it. I don't have much, but I might be able to scrounge up something that you want/need?

Oh c'mon Bob, you know I got nothing to do with any kind of medicinal fix. Besides, I'm just a poor boy trying to get atleast 1 cool accessory for my car Crying or Very sad It seems I can never get anything as nice as the stuff you've got on your 53 since you're always buying stuff first. And I certainly can't afford Hot Dogs prices from Florida

Very Happy Poor Glenn.......It's an addiction---face it. Where does it end?? I have bought and sold hundreds of accessories and I really don't care if I own another one. It's the knowledge you gain that always will be there. But if you find one of those shift lock-outs.....forget everything I said. The Chase is ON. Very Happy

I have one of those cool little glove box pulls with the VW symbol. Got it off E-Bay a few years ago from Jeff's wife as well. She put several up for sale. I think I paid $20-$25 for mine. Pretty cheap. Last one I can remember sold for over $200 on E-Bay. Mine isn't for sale & my advise to anyone selling one is to ask a crazy price. It's one of those items that you may never find again.
Jason.

I might be nuts but isnt that the same pull as the non vw logoed one? If it is and you want one bad enough just take a non logoed one to a jewler and have the thing engraved.

It's been tried. Phil Weiner took mine to three jewlers and they said no. I went to a gold smith friend of mine and he said it would require an expensive engraving machine that few private jewlers have access to. I guess the secret would be to find a major firm that specializes in small orders.

Try a gunsmith. I've got several handguns that have had some engraving work done to them and the price was never that bad.

Al9- If you're asking anything close to this price, exclude me from the buyers list. Way more than I'd be willing to pay.
