I have a very compelling urge to tear the turn signals off of my '72 squareback and replace them with something a little less...huge. They're pretty massive, and ugly too. I also want to put the beetle headlights on my square for that raked back look. Anyone got suggestions for the turn signals? I'm thinking about replacing them with the older, bullet style, but what I'd really like is if someone made small turn signals inside the bezel of the beetle headlights. |

I just replaced the big front turn signals on my beetle with a pair of older ones myself. Yesterday, i went to a friends garage and looked at his motorcycle. I think i will be installing some cycle lights instead. They are 12 volt and come in many smaller styles. Just a thought. _________________ 67 Ghia coupe, Retired military.

the early bug headlights have a "parking light" in the bottom, you could use that for a turn signal light.
I have done that on many bugs, when I did not want a light on top of the fender. _________________ cut, hammer, weld, drive.
not necessarily in that order. |

Man, you have a zillion options here. Search the hot rodder and custom bike web sites. You'll find "blinkers" that hit all your buttons. _________________ NTHANG, LLC |
