Priced at 62,000 US dollars. Looks sweet, but it's a lot of hard earned!

Even if it is a real 23 window deluxe, its not a restoration! How could a custom bus be worth more than a high dollar restoration unless they put at least $10K into the engine/suspension?? Do you have a link to the ad or a description?

Hmm.... If I had $62,000 I could buy:

a) a "customized" 23 window bus with new paint.

b) an OG paint barnoor kombi panel, or truck...

and still have about 10k left over to invest in restoration parts and equipment...

hmmmm....choices choices... A FLEET of awsome VW's....or one relatively common passenger bus, without the original motor, etc...

but, all of these would require rust fixing (except maybe the bug) Razz

i would definately not spend 60+K on a restaured bus....

I think I could put together a pretty decent set of rust repair equipment with the 10k I had leftover after buying all those cars Cool
a huge compressor, a nice mig plus a spot welder, an assortment of pneumatic tools....
