Getting a turn key 1776
Comes with Empi carbs .
Should I upgrade to ? Or are they good.

Hopefully whoever had the engine before has those empi's already jetted and setup. If so, count yourself lucky and roll with it. They should work fine...if not well have fun .

Motor builder sets them up and Dyno runs it.
I was jus curious are Empi good carbs?

Which empi carbs?

What's the intended use for the engine?

Are you skilled enough to maintain, or will you farm out the work?

What "EMPI" carbs.... HPMX 40's (?) go with them if the are second or third generation HPMX they are pretty good... Maybe better than original Weber' IDF's ...

I've ran multiple sets with no issue, make sure they're jetted correctly

Only thing I'd look into upgrading would be the linkage and filter holder/brackets
