Looks like the 'green flash' samba. Same green? Same arch trim/design. _________________ 1951 Samba 20-017894

wow! nothing says customer service like showing up on a motorcycle in the middle of the winter. Wonder how many of those NSU bikes wrecked on the way to the photo shoot _________________ regards

In Europe back then it was normal to use a motorcycle in winter, because a lot of people couldn't afford a car, still had to go to work. My uncles keep telling me stories when the carburetors quit from icing and they had to push the motorcycle in a barn or stable with pigs and cows, to warm up the frozen carb and their frozen bodies. then they could go on. Most streets were just gravel roads. (outside of town)
Our cars were built only 5-10 yrs after the war and that era sure was chilly but also utterly amazing! building such quality cars in these circumstances seems just incredible. _________________ Hotrods, Fords, Veedubs and Triumph Twins !
