My grandpa 94 years of age was a cab driver back in the fifties.
He drove a 1952 Barndoor Samba.
I posted one of these picture's earlier in this topic but newer ones recently came to broad daylight.. Very Happy

The taxi company name was "Van Marwijk" so they disconnected the V and turned the ring with the W 180 degrees.

The name Harry on the roof is the name of the owners son. He died in a plane crash in the early fifties.
