| Got a line on a split "project" I'm going to go look at today. I don't know what year, whats there, whats not. It's supposed to be a right hander, but on a '68 pan? Sounds like it might be a mess, but I have to see it! |

It does sound like a mess, but of course you can't just ignore it. Good luck _________________ 1947 Type 11a

| Thats all it was, was a mess. '56 or '57 oval with scabbed in split section. Converted to right hand drive, poorly. Never know if you don't look. |

you never know man.
I was at the car wash in the town I live in (Population 800) and while I was washing my truck, this guy comes up and starts telling me theres a split in the shop across the street. I had to see it to believe it and sure as shit a 52 crotch cooler split all og except the paint but it still has 25 horse in it. The owner wants too much for it dont ask, anyways goes to show even in my small town I thought I was the only one with a split and there it was, another real split 100% complete and I would pass by it everyday never even knowing. Usually I have good VW radar about things like that but it was right under my nose less than 200 feet from the road in that little shop and I never even realized it. _________________ 52 Split Rag

Yeah, it's in the building across from the car wash in the city where Skim lives right? _________________ 1947 Type 11a
