I was loooking at my Carb on my 52 and I believe it's a 28 pict. I did some research and should I have a 26 VFIS carb instead? When did they change, is the 28 ok to go with, or should I start looking for a 26.
Thanks
Gary

If your car is a Pre Oct 52 (dual glovebox dash) with a 25hp motor, it should have a 26VFIS carb

Ya that's what I was afraid of, Add another part to my list. What would a fair price be for one. Are they are hard to rebuild? Or should I go for a NOS, or already rebuilt. Figure the later of the 2 is what I'll do. Just need a fair guess on what I should expect to pay.
Thanks
Gary

Good used 26VFIS carbs run about $100-$150 but you'll need to take the word of the seller if it's ready to run. I think there's a NOS one in the classifieds for about $300?
