I had the good fortune of seeing a real live TS at the Spring Meet show in Washington. I met the owner after the show and had a chance to talk with him.

Very, very nice car. I unfortunately didn't have my camera... Did anyone else attend? Take pics?

Oh, and I didn't know it at first, but I hung out with the guy who painted the car!

This car will go to the Classic, so you SO*CAL guys will see it too.

I'm not sure if this has been posted here before, so sorry if it's a repost...

I need a full rear apron for the car. I trailered the car to the painter with my hopes up but was told the bottom skirt would just crack after time due to the exaust heat. Anybody have a complete rear apron section in excellent condition for a 63 Notchback? I'm getting frustrated. I've got someone to weld it in that's no problem.HELP!!

I know, I know. That's why I was asking if anyone took any pics. It was the only Squareback at the Spring Meet show. Red TS - I have no idea what year... Dave Cormack has shot it for Hot VWs, will be in the mags soon.

Email them to me, and I can throw them up on my site.
Or read Everett's how-to.

Sucks it was the only typIII in the show. Although, there are usually not many typIII's at that show.

The car has been at the last octobugfest and at least one springmeet, shoreline and numerous other northwest shows...Mike is the owners name, nice guy...lives in BC Canada....talked with him quite a few times at shows...it does have the TS badging on it...still 6 volt, gas heater, etc, etc...

Looks like a '66 or '67 that someone added a TS emblem to.

Not a "real" TS (64-65 model).

More info welcome...
