im trying to figure out what shade of red to use to match a brick red interior....does anyone know a bug color to use ???

L 87 Pearl white is what mine will be with brick red interior.

i beleave he is looking for a color match,so he can paint the outside the same color as the inside.
my 56 was horzon blue with brick red int.
not a normal combo,but OG in mine.

yea, i see theres a ton of red colors...but which red matches the darkish brick red color???...

I don't know if you'd call it "darkish" , but L451 Indiana Red From '60 Type 1, is pretty close...Almost exactly like regular red primer, only not flat...Hope this helps?

I don't believe VW ever painted anything brick red ? That was just an interior color they used with many outside colors (pearl white , ruby red , indiana red , black, ect) If you want the same color as the interior , take a piece with you to the paint store and look through their chip books (Sikkens has a clor map , PPG has a fleet book). i dont wanna paint the car brick red....just the rims...so i just wanna find a color close to the brick red interoior color
