Is that the roadster with the fiberglass tilt tonneau cover with integrated wing? I think the owner was George Delfino or something like that. I think Steve Kneckt was involved too.
I have no idea what happened to it? _________________ Later,

Well now you might be a bit gay ....
but you song is quite nice
Ok but take that car put some real wheels, add back the chrome bumpers, turn signals, headlight rings......the car is really detailed...
That would make it so much better.
and loose the baby turbo mirriors too
So where is the car?
How bout this song?
Were do all the show cars go?
Gone to garages far and near....
when will they return, when will they return?
Anyone know of any ex-show cars? _________________ Martin Magnia

That car is the reason I bought my very first Squareback in '87, my '68.
Outside of the 8 spokes and baby turbo mirrors, it's pretty timeless. I think, not positive, I saw that car at one of the early '90s Jamborees. Hands down, one of the cleanest Squarebacks in any mag in that era. _________________ Phillip Bradfield

What ever happened to...............
Page Proctors Suicidal tendancies pink and silver suicide door picture window?
The Green mid 60s square from northern california on smooth polished rivieras and all shaved up.
How about Kid Deans red chop top picture window with slanted door posts.
Or the one that made me buy a notch. It was on the cover of Hot VWs and was blue and white stock looking with 4 wheel disks overrider bumpers and the license plate said t 3 dave? It was a so cal car.
I am a type3nut from the cal look era. I would gladdly own any of those cars and roll all day long.
Probubly would buy one if I could find one because I dout I will ever finish my notch. |

Watch out. They've been complaining about gay threads in the rants lately. Those songs might just do it. _________________ Please PM me whatever you are smoking!

I still have the mags with all the mentioned cars. The one that did it for me was the '63 Notch that belonged to Bill Makepeace in the Vintage issue of HotVW's.

Bill sold his a long time ago. I had the chance to buy it but at the time I didn't care about having a nice OG car. It was all about being slammed and shaved.
Wait a minute my notch is one of the lowest type 3s out there. Well lowest one with stock type 3 beam. So maybe I haven't grown up yet.
