I've had this Bug for just over a year now. She's starting to turn into my dream car. I've been developing her slowly when I have the cash. It had US spec bumpers when I bought it. I've had a 3.5" narrowed beam slipped in and the tacho moved under the dash. I've also just recently bought a Flat 4 Empi GT replica wheel.

She's only got a 1600 with twin 40 Dell'orto's at the moment but I'm planning on getting something bigger one day. It's fast enough at the moment but I want more. Also planning on fitting Sprints in the near future as these are my dream wheels and fitting 205 tyres on the back.

I want to keep this baby for ever! Very Happy

Thanks Dubtype1. I would if they were Flat 4s. Midland Wheel Supplies replicas I afraid. Twice as cheap but not as good. The castings are pretty good and it takes a real close up look to tell but the overall finish isn't as good. You can have them if you want, you'll have to pay shipping though. Laughing

Word on the streets is that Jessie James bought that car for his collection. It now resides in California.

Haven't updated this for a while. I got my OG Sprints on. Running 4Js on the front and 5.5J on the back. Planning on fitting some wider rubber at the rear soon. I'm pretty chuffed at the way she's sitting now. Cool
