My 1971 Notchback was running well then started missing and was expelling black smoke. I thought it could be dirty injectors or an air leak causing the engine to run rich. I added "Lucas" Injector cleaner to the gas and then it stalled and we havn't been able to start it since. The plugs have a good spark and the injectors are spraying well. I found a loose air line from the intake distributor to the air controll valve. I tightened and clamped it and still "nothing". The engine turns over fine and we smell gas in the engine compartement while trying to start it. Fuel line pressure is around 28psi. Any ideas?
