Welcome. Your going to find that not all VW enthusiast like any year model bug. Be prepared to have you car called a "fat chick" but dont worry about that. Late model bugs are more comfortable dailys and dont look bad either to me. Im more into the early models but I still like all aircoolers. I know Georgia is kind of dead in the VW scene but there are a few VW freaks like me. |

bpoogas that looks exactly like my bug did. Dodge viper blue with pearl white on the sides. Im redoing it now and going with dove blue solid. I liked the blue and white for a few years but it got old to me. Never content with anything. |

That's cool, Mine is actually Subaru Blue Pearl, the white is plain white. I don't think I'll change the color, I would just build another car. I'm not even done with this one and I already want to build another! I have no room for more cars though. I got spoiled with this car. There was basically no rust and The body was pretty straight. My next one will be more of a long term project. |

Mine was a rust bucket and I half ass fixed it. So redoing the paint and body has been a long time coming. I have it completly tore down now. Maybe when I get it done I will be happy with it. Thats the last pic I took of my bug before I disassembled it in my avatar. Everybody I know dug that color combo and most of my friends dont know why I want to change but hell, its time for something different. |

My first car is a '67 Bug, I bought it in December! Course, I drove my parents' 72 Super for about a year and a half, but it technically wasn't MINE.... _________________ My, you've been naughty. How.....Delicious.

Volkswagens are awesome.
You and your Beetle should come down to Alabama for this
http://www.centralalvwclub.com/junebugs05.html
and then in August, this:

Look for me at both hopefully in my ratty '67 Deluxe Bus.
BTW, your Beetle looks pretty nice. _________________ All he needed was a wheel in his hand and four on the road.

Yeah I own a 67 rust bucket too, but its in resto processes. This is my 2nd bug, first was a 69 baja. Wasn't to cool with the whole baja thing, so now am making a low street performance. Just pulled motor out of my 67 to modify it to a 1914cc. 400 sucks when you can only do 65mph with the pedal floored and the motor sounding like its going to blow. LOL.
I wasn't aware there were so many vw fans here in Ga. Seems like we all need to get together and start our own vw scene. |
